Strength Oldschool has defined "Post Modern Bodybuilding" in two ways: Firstly... It refers mainly to bodybuilders who pushed the limits in SIZE creating physiques that were purely driven for MASS with minimum aesthetics, resulting in thicker waists and protruding bellies. Drug intake was plenty along with Growth Hormone and other concoctions! Throw in synthol injections and implants and you can see why this era represents the decline of bodybuilding. Secondly... It also simply refers to bodybuilders who began competing at the top level from the late 90's onwards, so expect to see some physiques that actually looked pretty good.
